About Us

The fast food revolution in Australia began in 1968 when a young Canadian opened the first KFC restaurant at Guildford in Sydney’s western suburbs.

Since then we’ve grown significantly, and now have over 600 stores in Australia and New Zealand and more than 12,000 employees working on a full-time, part-time or casual basis in Australia alone.

Quite an achievement considering our first restaurant opened with just 25 staff.
