Q. How do I apply for a job?

Visit our Apply Centre to find the job you'd like to apply for. You can search jobs in the location you'd prefer to work in, as well as the role you're looking for.
Once you've found the job you're looking for, go to the Apply Now page on this site and you'll be directed to our online application form. Make sure you complete all the required fields and then click submit. You will then be asked to complete an online quiz.

Q. Can I apply for more than one job?

Yes, you can apply for up to three positions at a time. Remember to choose the job that matches your skills, experience and career aspirations.

Q. How will I know you've received my application?

You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application within 48 hours.

Q. What do I do if I can't complete my application form in one sitting?

If you are unable to complete your application form in one sitting, you can simply save your application and log in at a later stage to pick up where you left off.

Q. Can I only complete my application online?

The easiest and most efficient way to apply for a job is through this website, using our online application centre. However, you can visit your local KFC restaurant and ask the Restaurant Manager for an application form.

Q. What does the quiz involve and why is part of the recruitment process?

The quiz is a problem-solving component used in conjunction with other selection tools (the application form and/or interview) to help us select the most suitable person for the position. The purpose of these selection tools is to provide us with more information about you. Completing assessments in conjunction with your job application provides you with a fair and objective way to demonstrate your skills and ability.
The quiz will take approximately 30 - 40 minutes to complete.

Q. Can I resit the quiz at any stage?

Once the quiz is complete, you cannot be assessed again within a 90-day period.

Q. What kind of people are KFC looking for?

KFC is one of the world's leading restaurant brands, so we're looking for people who can represent KFC to our customers. We look for people who are fun and friendly, have a positive attitude, enjoy working in a team and take pride in their appearance.

Q. Will getting a job affect my studies?

At KFC we maintain that school always comes first. We're flexible around working hours to accommodate time off for exams, extra curricular school activities, sports and family events.
Hours for our school age employees are managed so that they don't clash with their school timetable.

Q. What career opportunities are available at KFC for Team Members?

There are three different areas you can work in within a restaurant: customer facing, food preparation or drive thru service. You will also get on-the-job training and an opportunity to complete a Retail Traineeship leading to a Nationally Recognised Qualification. From here, the opportunities are endless.

Q. What happens if I can't make a shift?

You should contact your Restaurant Manager as soon as possible to let your team know you can't make the shift. This will allow them time to find someone to replace you without affecting the smooth running of the restaurant.

Q. What hours will I work?

Depending on the role, the number of hours that an employee works will vary. A full-time employee will work a minimum of 38 hours per week, whereas a part-time employee will work the hours they are contracted to work. For casual employees there is no guarantee of hours, so the hours can vary according to business demand from 0-38 hours per week.

Go to the Apply Now page and click on register here.

Q. How do I change my password?

If you are an existing user and have applied for a job, you can change your password by signing in and clicking on change password.

Q. I have forgotten my password. What do I need to do?

Visit our Apply Centre and select the Login Tab. Click on the link: Did you forget your Username/Password? Enter your email address and your Username and Password details will be emailed to you.

Q. Can I update my personal details?

Yes, once you are registered as an existing user you can select your personal details and update them.

Q. How old do I need to apply for a position at KFC?

You must be minimum 14 years old or 15 years old in Victoria to apply for a position at KFC.

Q. What do I do if I have not heard anything about my application?

You can contact the KFC team about your application by selecting Login and entering your username and password and selecting Contact Us.
